Albert Owen Lenington

Albert Owen "Big Al" Lenington, 80, of Dallas passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, in Dallas.

Big Al was born on April 20, 1931, to Rosa Stenger Owen Lenington and James Earnest Lenington.

Survivors include his wife, Jane E. Lenington of Dallas; his two sons: James E. Lenington and wife Kathy of Haslet and John H. Lenington and wife Barbara of Campbell; his sister, Ruth Knox of Herford; and his grandson Hunter A. Lenington.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX. from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX, with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.

Burial will follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park, 4118 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX.

Pallbearers will be John Lenington, John Stout, Jim Lenington, Bill Cook, Paul Schulten, and Hunter Lenington.
