Allen Eugene Roundtree

Allen E. Roundtree, 39, of Plano, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, in Plano.

Allen was born August 12, 1972, in Kirbyville, TX, to Sarah Gill and Richard Allen Roundtree.

He was married to Candy Roundtree.

He loved the Dallas Cowboys, hunting, fishing, gaming, his nieces and nephew and was very proud to spoil his wife. Overall, Allen loved helping people.

Allen held Bachelor and Masters degrees from Texas A&M - Commerce where he coached for 3 years. While coaching for Texas A&M - Commerce, he coached the National Champion and 9 All-American track and field athletes. While in Commerce, he coached Little League. He also coached at Farmersville ISD for 3 years. More recently, he worked for The Greensheet Publication for 6 years as a business analyst.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Desert Storm.

Survivors include his wife, Candy; his parents; his "furbabies": Ozzy, Sassy and Jasmine; and his sister, Elizabeth Kramer (Brandon).

He was preceded in death by Murphy Gill, Bell Gill, Samuel Roundtree and Dorothy Roundtree.

Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Interment rites will be conducted on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Antioch Cemetery, Weiss Bluff Road, (16791 CR 701) Buna, Texas 77612.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Partain, Scott McCoy, Dewayne Miller, Randy Milam, James Norris, Kenny Cooper and Darren Sharp..
