Barbara Lynn Van Hooser

Barbara Lynn Van Hooser, 52, of Cumby passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011, in Tyler.

She was born on May 6, 1959, in Arlington, TX, to Emily Lavern Cunningham Diggs and Richard Leon Diggs. Barbara was a homemaker.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny deLane Van Hooser of Cumby; her two sons: Justin Van Hooser of Fairlie and Jake Van Hooser of Mt. Pleasant; her daughter, Heidi Crews of Mt. Pleasant; her brother, Richard Bud Diggs of Mt. Pleasant; her two sisters: Brenda Davis of Pittsburg and Beth Diggs of Naples; and two grandsons: Joey Crews and A. J. Crews.

Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Leon McDowell will officiate.

Interment will follow at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie.

Pallbearers will be Justin Van Hooser, Mark Van Hooser, Bubba Gentry, Evon Orneelas, Joey Crews, and Chris Crews. A. J. Crews will be an Honorary Pallbearer
