Betty Jean Wilburn

Betty Jean Wilburn, 58, of Commerce, formerly of Ladonia, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, in Ladonia.

Betty Jean (Frog) Wilburn was born on December 8, 1957, to Margaret Wilburn and Walter Meals.

She was a fun-loving, kind and gentle person. She enjoyed life to the very end. She was baptized at an early age and although she was always the life of the party, she knew Christ.

Betty was a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and God-mother to many as she had a hand in raising a lot of kids.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Margaret Wilburn; her step-mother, Teresa Meals; her daughters: Yolanda (Darin) Sanders of Wichita Falls, Margaret (Edward) King of Commerce, Sharon Wilburn (Thurman Dowdy) of Ladonia; her son, Terance Wilburn of Ladonia; 2 granddaughters; 4 grandsons; 5 great grandkids; 7 sisters; 3 brothers; and, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty has 2 deceased granddaughters; a son; and, her father.

She will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
