Billy Dwayne Orum

Billy Dwayne Orum, 46, of Commerce past away Tuesday, June 1, 2010.

Billy was born in Greenville, Texas, on November 19, 1963 to Billy Allen Orum and Melba Jenkins Orum. He was a Greenville High School graduate. Billy was the owner of Orum Roofing of Commerce and enjoyed the sport of racing.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberley Denise Orum; his son, Nicholas Alan Ray Orum; and his daughter, Samantha Nicole Orum all of Commerce. Other survivors include his father and step-mother, Bill and Donna Orum of Quinlan; his father and mother-in-law Harold and Charlene Moore of Commerce; his sisters: Angela Ragsdale of Forney, Amanda Orum and husband Paul Howard of Quinlan; Elizabeth Orum of Sheridan, WY; Dee and Jonathan West of Sulphur Springs, and Claudia and Kerry Livingston of Aledo; a sister-in-law Wanda Jones; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Earl Orum; his grandparents, Wayne and Kathleen Orum; and Eula and Woodrow Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Rick Duncan, Vernon Kizer, Ray Gardner, Ray Jenkins, Kerry Livingston, and Jonathan West.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Commerce with Bro. Adam Hailes officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
