Bobby Joe Webb, 78, of Cumby, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Sulphur Springs.
Bobby was a retired truck driver for Associated Milk Producers Inc.. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on January 11, 1933, to Tempest Arco Saunders Webb and John Alva Webb. On July 22, 1953, he married Ima Jean Walls in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Sherry Renee Webb; and, his great-granddaughter, Phoebe Natalia Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Ima Jean Webb of Cumby; his son, Stanley Wade Webb of Cumby; his daughter, Shirley Ann Hilburn of Greenville; his brother, J. B. Webb of Greenville; his sisters: Betty Lou Williams of Garland, Glenna Sue Evans of Cumby, and Carmeletia Winters of Greenville; and, his grandchildren: Chad Wayne Stovall of Greenville, Melissa Ann Bearden of Bullard, Jeremy Wade Webb of Greenville, and Jonathan Wayne Webb of Greenville. His is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Reid Wayne Stovall, Hunter Blake Bearden, Reagan Ann Stovall, Morgan Renee Bearden, Quinten Wayne Stovall, Joaquin Webb, Mason William Stovall, and Zoe Alyzabeth Webb.
Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cumby, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Chad Wayne Stovall, Jeremy Wade Webb, Jonathan Wayne Webb, Brian Bearden, Keith Webb, and Dewayne Evans. Jimmy Evans will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
