Broderick Desmond Hearn

Broderick Desmond Hearn of Commerce, TX, passed away on August 3, 2024. He was born March 26, 1984 to Arlene Vivian Hearn and Edward (Fat Buddy) Jones. Broderick gained a Father in 1985, Bubba Lee Washington. Both Bubba Lee and Fat Buddy preceded Broderick in death.

Broderick attended Commerce Schools and graduated in 2002. While attending Commerce High School, he was part of the 1999 and 2001 State Football Championships.

Broderick welcomed Jacey Lynn on August 13, 2006; Jacori Desmond on February 19, 2008, Zachariah Thomas on July 1, 2014 and Emma Ruth on March 15, 2016. Broderick met Kimberley, his wife, in 2013. They married February 16, 2020.

He was the Ultimate Salesman, Tow Truck Driver, and Detailer. He was the type of person that never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back or the shoes off his feet to anyone. Even after becoming disabled due to his health issues he still helped anyone who needed it.

Broderick gave his life to Christ and was Baptized July 25, 2021 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Commerce, TX. Broderick continued to attend Ridgecrest as often as possible. He continued to grow in the Lord and learn God’s purpose for his life.

Broderick is survived by: wife Kimberley; children Jacey, Jacori, Zachariah, and Emma; mother Arlene; grandmother Emma Doris; siblings Bubba, Deno, Cornelius, Preston, Mia, Nerva, Brian, Chamunique, Edward, Keelie, Ja’Quan, E’Dream, Tevin, Tiayana, Terrance; nieces and nephews Jhonni, Sammie, Jobe, Ka’Dasha, Kandaris Jr, Kamari, Khaza, Kolani, Aubrey, Kalab, and Sevynn; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and too many friends to list.

 Memorial service will be help on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 3:30 P.M. at Commerce First United Methodist Church.
