Brodie Ray Campbell

Brodie Ray Campbell, 78, of Blossom Texas, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

Brodie was born on February 18, 1935 to Elbert Ray and Stella Elizabeth Cawthorn Campbell. He had been married 23 years to Rozell Putman Campbell.

Brodie was a Coach-Teacher at Clarksville ISD, Quinlan ISD, Rivercrest ISD, Kilgore College and Rollway New Mexico State. In his spare time he loved to fish.

Survivors include his wife, his son Brodie R. Campbell, ll and his wife Linda of Longview, TX., John Campbell and his wife Kathy of Alvin TX., his daughter Sallie Coombs and her husband Paul of Montgomery, TX., his step-son Lesley Simmons of Dike TX., his step-son Jason Jewell of Odessa TX., his step-daughter Anita Smith of Antlers Oklahoma, his grandchildren Brodie John Campbell (Rachel) of Longview TX., Brette Kuban (Matt) of Pflugerville TX., Julie Rhea Coombs of Montgomery TX., Jacob Campbell of Alvin TX., Jace Campbell of Alvin TX., C.J. Douglas of Antlers Okla. Arlee Simmons of Dike, TX., Addy Simmons of Dike TX., and, his step great granddaughter Hailen France Douglas.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
