Burton Thomas "B. T." Brown, 21, of Commerce passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011, in Point.
B. T. was born in Sulphur Springs on October 18, 1989, to Rita Krodle and Bryan Heath Brown. He was an employee of A K Gillis & Son's Inc.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Burt and Tootie Milam.
Survivors include his father, Bryan Brown and wife Debbie of Point; his mother, Rita Krodle and husband Robert of Commerce; three brothers: Brandon Brown and Dalton Krodle both of Commerce and Ty Brown of Point; his paternal grandparents, Tommy and Gail Brown of Ladonia; his maternal step-grandparents, Steve and Sheila Krodle of Quinlan; his step-grandparent, Lew Squires of Greenville; and his aunts and uncles: Johnny Brown of Emory, Cindy and Auggie Plata of Gober, Randy Milam of Commerce, Rhonda Milam of Commerce, Ricky Milam and wife Paulette of New Orleans, LA, Burt Milam and wife Lynn of Tennessee, Julia St. Ama of Brownwood, Tiffany Squires of Greenville and Jake Krodle of Quinlan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie. Bro. Kerry Miller will officiate.
Interment will follow at Sonora Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Brown, Brandon Brown, Johnny Brown, Dalton Krodle, Koby Ivey and Kris Stanford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Xavier Plata, Rowdy Brown, Dustin Milam, J. R. Trull, Colton Anderson, Ty Brown and Josh Pannell.
