Callie Stewart Neal

James Callie Lorene Stewart Neal, 78, of Balch Springs, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas.

Callie was born on February 4, 1932, in Gordonville, Texas, to H. Garvin Stewart and Tain Moody Stewart. On May 27, 1951, she married Alton Odell Neal. She was a customer service representative for various retail businesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Michael Stewart Neal; her daughter, Debra Jane Neal Tice; her sister, Lois Stewart Bateman; her grandson, Scott Andrew Tice; and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Cletie Stewart Bradley and James Bradley.

Survivors include two grandsons: Mark Tice of Dallas and Dennis Tice of Princeton; and, five great-grandchildren: Cole Tice and Michael Tice of Dallas, Ashley Tice and Crystal Tice of Princeton, and Austin Tice of Wylie.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. in Brigham Cemetery, Campbell, Texas.
