Curtis Wayne Fugitt

Curtis Wayne Fugitt, 76, of Sumner passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2016.

Curtis was born in Hickory Creek, Hunt County, Texas, on October 16, 1939, to Loma McWilliams and Wilbur Fugitt. He was a graduate of Leonard High School. Curtis was owner of Sheandi Indian Gallery; he was also an artist. Curtis was married to Brenda Fugitt.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; his daughters: Christie Humphreys of Sumner and Amy Palmer of Mesquite; his sons: Jeremy Humphreys of Fountain CO. and Bryon Fugitt of Cumby; his grandchildren: Halie Chambless, Misty Swindle, Cody Alvarado, Victor Alvarado and Christie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loma and Wilbur Fugitt; and, his two sisters: Delores Lindsey and Judy Corcoran.

The Fugitt family is planning a private memorial service.
