Damon Dashune Heath

Damon Dashune Heath, 29, of Commerce passed away on Saturday night, December 7, 2024, at Hunt Regional Hospital of Commerce. Damon was born in McKinney, Texas on July 9, 1995 to Howard Junior Phifer and Lajuana Claudette Heath. He loved to go fishing, play pool and spend time with his family. 

Damon is survived by his parents: Howard Phifer and Lajuana Heath; fiancé: Bridget Finch; son: Keenlan Denzel Jones Heath; stepsons: Nicholas Trey Ford, Jaquess Treyvon Finch; stepdaughters: Aliecia Mai Ford, Takerriya Tamia Thomas; brothers: Donovan Heath of Longview, Tx; Aundrey Heath of Commercer, Tx; Joel Flanagan of Royse City, Tx; Daryian Hubbard of Royse City, Tx; sisters: Jerlisha Heath of Commerce, Tx; Ali Matlock of Royse City, Tx; nieces: Addlyn Flanagan and Avereigh Flanagan; nephew: Ashton Flanagan. 

Damon was preceded in death by his brother, Corey Dominic Heath; grandmothers, Ella Louise Lockett Heath and Elnora Phifer. 

Services for Damon will be December 21, 2024 at 1:00pm in the chapel at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home.
