Danny Louis Lunsford

Danny Louis Lunsford, 53, passed away on May 8, 2010 at the Dubuis Hospital of Paris.

Danny was born on August 6, 1956 to Alvin Lee Louis and Sharon LaVerne Richardson Lunsford in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Danny is survived by his lifelong loving companion Donna Lunsford, his children: Joshua Paul Lunsford of Commerce, Jeremy Colton Lunsford and spouse Amy of Paris, Angelica Danielle Lunsford of Commerce, and Matthew Lee Lunsford of Commerce, his godchildren: Courtney and Rebecca Weatherbee, his brothers and sisters: Ronnie Lunsford and spouse Susanne of Corpus Christi, TX, Ricky Lunsford and spouse Debroah of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Al Lunsford of White Oak, TX, and Sharon Tower and spouse Gary of Glennwood, TX, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a close friends Sue and Michail Eckles of Forney, TX.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker and Son on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Services will be held at the Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, TX at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010.

Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, TX.

Pallbearers are Boone Lowrie, Doug Riffle, Josh Lowrie, Daniel Riffle, Derek Eckles, and Ray Hunter.

Honorary Pallbearers are Anson Lowrie, Tommy Staley, Michail Eckles, and Sam Bush.
