Delbert Earl Tyler

Delbert E. Tyler was born February 9, 1939 in Honey Grove in Fannin County to T.B. Tyler and Louise Baty Tyler.  Delbert is survived by Ruth B. Tyler, son Mike Tyler and wife Michelle Tyler and their two sons Matt and Mason Tyler with his wife Jessie Tyler and 4 great grandchildren in Wichita, KS and son John W. Tyler in Campbell, TX.  He is also survived by Larry Tyler and wife Francis and sister Linda Tyler Loftin.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Tyler in 2018.  Jerry's wife, Mary Tyler, still lives in Blossom, TX.

Delbert E. Tyler graduated from East Texas College with a Masters Degree in history and English.  He worked as Manager of Ark Valley Electric in Hutchinson, KS from 1980 until 1993.  In 1997 he moved from Kansas to Commerce, TX where he worked at Commerce Wal Mart as a door greeter for 16 years.  He retired to Campbell, TX.

On 10-28-2020 Delbert passed away from Alzheimer's disease. His cremation is being handled by Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce, TX.  Delbert's commemoration will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
