Dennis Wayne Neel, 63, of Commerce passed away at Hunt Regional Hospital-Greenville on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Dennis was born on August 4, 1957 in Enid, Oklahoma to Howard Lee Neel and Frances Jean Bell Neel. Dennis met and married Larissa Chumbley.
Dennis worked in the construction industry and the Oil and Gas industry. He loved to play golf whenever he had the time and could be found at Sand Hills Country Club when he was able to be in from working.
Dennis is survived by his wife Larissa; parents Howard and Frances Neel, sons; Blake Neel of Commerce and Daniel Neel of Garland, his daughters; Melissa Shull and husband Brent of Royse City and Crystal Ricoy and husband Carlos of Garland, grandchildren; Xavier Brown, Jacob Baca, Adrian Ricoy, Carlos Ricoy Jr, Eliza Ricoy, Moses Ricoy, Chance Shull and Isabella Neel. He is also survived by his sisters; Michele Linex and husband Martin of Greenvile and Mindy Neel of Wolfe City, brother Wade Neel and wife Heather of Wolfe City.
Dennis was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Neel and a nephew, Justin Linex.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Sunday March, 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Jones-Walker & Son with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Blake Neel, Daniel Neel, Brent Shull, Wade Neel, Xavier Brown and Jacob Baca.
Those attending visitation and the funeral service is asked to wear masks or face covering for the safety of yourself and others.
