Derek Sidwell

Derek Sidwell, 89, of Commerce passed away at his residence on Saturday July 1, 2023 with family at his bedside.  He was born in Coventry England on June 9, 1934 to Herbert Sidwell and Elsie Moore Sidwell.  Derek helped his father maintenance Spitfire airplanes in WWII.  He enjoyed cricket, soccer and golf.  He retired as an engineer in the oil industry.

Derek is survived by his wife Sandra; son Randy Koon and wife Jeanna of Commerce; daughter-in-law Jennifer Austin of WalaWala, Washington.  He is also survived by friends Dick and Helen Frazier of Houston, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Sidwell and Elsie Moore Sidwell.
