Doris Mae Johnson

Doris Mae Johnson, 87, of Denison, TX formerly of Honey Grove, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013, in Denison.

Doris was born in Fannin County, on March 6, 1926, to Lee and Ola Johnson.

Survivors include her three sons; Patrick Johnson of Sherman, and Corey Johnson and his wife Lourra of Sherman, and Curtis Johnson of Weatherford; brother Choice Johnson of Honey Grove, her two sisters; Zelema Allen and Bessie Nelson and her husband Mack of Honey Grove, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, and, a special nephew, Frederick Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Johnson, son Harold Johnson, her five brothers; Woodrow Johnson, J.C. Johnson, O.L. Johnson, Billy A. Johnson and Lee Jr. Johnson, and her three sisters; Pearl Johnson, Ruby Titus and Jewel Porter.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M Saturday, March 23, 2013, at St. James Baptist Church in Honey Grove, with Rev. Choice Nelson officiating.

Visitation will be conducted one hour prior to funeral services.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Johnson, Gaylon Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Kenneth Nelson, Mickey Shepperd and Aurthur Finney.

Honorary pallbearers will be Frederick Johnson, Corey Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Curtis Johnson Jr. and Choice M. Johnson.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
