Dorothy Virginia Curtis

Dorothy Virginia "Dot" Curtis, 92, formerly of Commerce departed this world to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 1st in Arlington. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 13th at 11:00 am at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce. All are welcome.

Dorothy was born in Commerce, Texas on August 11, 1924 to Dorrice Elvita Thomas and Luke Wall. She married and raised her children in Amarillo before returning to live in Commerce. Dorothy spent her final years in Arlington, close to family and friends. She enjoyed sharing her love of the Lord with all who knew her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Dorrice and D.C. Boyd. She is survived by her daughter Bunny Floyd (Ken), her son Pastor Winston Curtis (Kathy), seven adoring grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
