Dorothy Ozell Patterson

Dorothy Ozell Patterson "Grandot" was born May 16, 1919, in Commerce, Texas, to James and Lula Bundren. Dorothy passed away peacefully June 3, 2009.

Dorothy Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sparkman Patterson; her son, Phillip Mark Patterson; and a granddaughter Julie Anna Jackson Ratliff.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Aryless Buce of Flint, TX; Elouise Skinner of Houston, TX; Elizabeth Longshore of Glenwood, AR; Jane Pierce of Gilbert, AZ; James Bundren of Bryan, TX; William (Bill) Bundren of Hamilton, TX; Jo Chittenden of San Antonio, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by daughter, Melinda Glover and her husband Bill, of Commerce, TX; daughter, Carla Moberly and her husband, Jeff of Garland, TX; a grandson Scott Moberly of Garland, TX; and a granddaughter, Meredith Moberly of Irving, TX.

Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all whom she has left behind.

Visitation with family will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 930 West Avenue B, Garland, Texas 7040. , Friday, June 5, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. with services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, TX, at 2:00 p.m.
