Effie Marie Minnick

Effie Marie Minnick, 90, of Commerce passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011, in Commerce.

Effie was born on April 18, 1921, in Hagerstown, MD, to Elsie May (Long) Harbaugh and William Harbaugh.. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul A. Wood Sr.

Survivors include her son, Paul L. Wood of Greencastle, PA; her daughter, Barbara A. Greer of Sulphur Springs, TX; her grandson, Curtis Wood of Hagerstown, MD; her three granddaughters: Paula Saheen of Pittsburgh, PA, Krystal Tomlin of San Angelo, TX, and Kitty O'Rand of Mt. Pleasant, TX; and, six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (Hagerstown, MD) on November 3, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
