Gerry D. Lay

Gerry D. Day, 64, of Paris passed away on June 22, 2010.

Gerry was born in Paris on July 6, 1945 to John A. and Rhoda E. Griffin Lay. Gerry worked at St. Joseph Hospital and married Sharon Yavonne Gorden.

Gerry is survived by this children: Gerry D. Lay II, Randy Erik Lay and Joel Daniel Lay, his grandchildren: Jace, Rachael, Zachery, Triston, Justen, Stepheni, Daniel, Emealeigh, and Abaygale, and his brothers and sisters: Valera F. O'Neal, Virginia Lois Justice, Shirley Hernandez, Dixie H. Weeks, Arthur M. Lay, and Douglas F. Lay.

He is preceded in death but his wife, parents, three children: Pebble, Zachery Shane Lay and John Arthur Lay, and a brother, John W. Lay.

Graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery in Lamar County on June 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Charles Scarborough is officiating.
