Glenda Charlene Erwin, 65, of Commerce passed away Thursday, March 19, at Hunt Regional Community Hospital of Commerce.
She was a retired truck driver and owner of Mama's Movies, a local business in Commerce, for 8 years.
Glenda was born in Commerce on February 21, 1944, to George W. Taylor and Edna Lucille Hawkins Taylor.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Pruitt and husband Roscoe of Gladewater, Debbie Townsend of Ladonia; her son, Jerry Taylor and wife, Vickie, of Royce City; two sisters, Ann and Ken Bolyard of Powderly and Saundra and Sam Senesac of Rusk; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Randy Erwin.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Leo Erwin, and a sister, Sherry Taylor.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., prior to the memorial services.
