Hazel F. Norris

Hazel F. Norris, 78, of Commerce passed away early Sunday morning, January 05, 2020 in Dallas, TX.

Hazel was born on February 06, 1941 in Denison, TX to William James and Leona Horner James. She married E.L. Norris on February 24, 1958 and he preceded her in death in 2001.

Hazel was a retired child care provider. She ran her home child care center for 30 years. She loved all her kids like they were hers. Many of her kids still kept in contact with her even after they were grown.

Hazel is survived by sons: Eddie Norris and wife Lisa, James Norris and fiance Barbara, and Adam Norris and wife Rosa; grandchildren: Andrea Norris, Nakeia Norris and Keenan Norris; sisters: Joyce Cummings and husband Royce, Hattie Laube and husband Bill, Betty Clayton and JoAnn Jenkins; brothers: Darrell James, Jessie James and Alfred James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
