Jackie Lee Lunceford

Jackie Lee Lunceford, 73, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Commerce. He was a farm manager for Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Mr. Lunceford was born in Peerless, TX, on August 14, 1935, to Jasper (Jack) Koffman Lunceford and India V. Kincaid.

Jackie and his wife, Janie, were married in Greenville, TX, on October 24, 1955.

Survivors include his wife, Janie, of Commerce; his children: Valerie Annette Fox of Greenville, Lisa Renee Richardson of Mesquite, Tracy L. Lunceford and Tony Lee Lunceford both of Commerce; a sister, Joyce Camper of Wapakoneta, Ohio; 9 grandchildren: Bryan Lunceford, Julie Lunceford, Tanya Smith, Jessica Lunceford, Shantelle Selvaggi, Brandie Greer, Kevin Wingfield, Cody Wingfield, and Misty Lunceford; and 19 great-grandchildren: Kelsey McCormack, Kaylee McCormack, Makynia Orona, Taylor Lowery, Tara Lowery, Stephen Wingfield, Ciera Baysinger, Kiera Baysinger, Zayda Baysinger, Tegin Hall, Nathan Selvaggi, Joe Selvaggi, Andrea Selvaggi, Katie Selvaggi, Desiree Greer, Brendon Greer, Alexis Greer, Brylee Lunceford, and Aubrey Smith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Dwayne Lunceford; a brother, William Douglas Lunceford; 3 sisters: Bonnie Vannote, Treva Beadles, Mary Nowlin; and one grandson, Anthony Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
