James Gordon Busby

James Gordon Busby, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, in Commerce.

He was born March 3, 1936, to Mamye Lee Siegler and Delbert G. Busby in Collin County, Texas. On October 12, 1956, he married Annette Eloise Harbor. James was a Baptist by faith and had been employed by Rockwall International.

James was preceded in death by his wife; his son, James "Buzz" Busby Jr.; and, his parents.

Survivors include his sons: Joe Busby of Wylie, Jeff Busby and Jay Busby both of Commerce; his brother, William Patrick Buchanan of Burleson; his grandson, Darrin Busby of Commerce; his granddaughters: Amber Busby of Sulphur Springs and Kamie Busby of Commerce; his great grandchildren: Kaylee Busby, Plaisley Sloan, Alexis Sloan all of Commerce, Cassidy Busby and Callie Busby of Sulphur Springs and Zovia Busby of Arlington.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones-Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel with Bro. Randy Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
