James "Jimmy" Clovis Dato

James "Jimmy" Clovis Dato, 62, of Cumby passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in Commerce from injuries sustained in an accident.  He was born on December 28, 1960 in Ft. Worth to William Edward Dato Jr. and Wanda Jo Davis.  He was employed in the construction field.

James is survived by his mother and stepfather Wanda and Lance Williams of Cumby; a brother Cary Lance Dato of Ft. Worth; aunts: Beth Millirons and husband David, Sandra Smith and Mary Ingram.  He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Sherri Dianne Dato.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ridgeway Cemetery.
