Jamie Winnett

Jamie Winnett, 65, of Sulphur Springs passed away peacefully at her residence early Thursday morning November 4, 2021. Jamie was born on December 20, 1955 in Crossett, Arkansas to James and Willie Jo Parkerson Hale.

Jamie met and married Larry Winnett in Sulphur Springs on December 6, 1983. She was employed as an Licensed Vocational Nurse for many years. She loved taking care of and praying for her patients. She loved old movies and musicals especially Shirley Temple. Jamie loved kids and making them happy. she would do anything to make the ones she loved happy and loved praying for anyone.

Jamie was a proud member of Color Blind Ministries where CJ Duffey was her pastor.

Jamie is survived by her husband Larry; daughter Angela Marie Winnett; sons Samuel Joseph Winnett and John David Thurman; grandchildren: Maryah Winnett-Moore, James Winnett-Moore, Shanyah Winnett-Moore and Jasiah Barrett; sister Deborah Hale and many friends.

She was preceded in death b her parents and a brother James Stanley Hale.

A Celebration of Jamie's life will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Chapel with Rev. CJ Duffey officiating.
