Jane Lorene Beard

Jane Lorene Beard, 92, of Commerce passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015.

Jane was born in Naples, Texas, on January 24, 1923, to Lee Young.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.T. Beard; her mother, Lee Young; her two brothers: Whitt Davis and Willie Clay Austin; and, her sister, Eula Johnson.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Commerce with Rev. L.G. Dixon officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 9:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Martin, Tony Pannell, Dominic Turner, Nick Gatlin Sr., Odel Lewis, Tyrone Hines and John Runnels.

Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

In their hands they shall bear you up,

You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,

Because he has set his love
upon Me, Therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and
I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
and show him My salvation."
