Jeffery "Bodean" Relford

Jeffery Lynn Relford, "Bodean", 58, of Commerce passed away Friday, September 6, 2013.

Jeffery was born on May 18, 1955, to Doris Ruth Finney and Joe Verl Relford in Merit. He was a mechanic at Ford Automotive.

Survivors include his three sons: Michael Gadlin of Bridgeport , Derrick Relford of Sherman, and, Ja'Qayvion Da'Shen Savage of Dallas; three daughters: Laquisha Brown (Jan) of Commerce, Tamika Brown (Nikki) of Commerce, and, Delisha Relford of Dallas; his brothers: Bobby Joe Relford (Lisa Relford) of Sulphur Springs, Billy Joe Relford of Commerce, Richard Relford, Anthony Relford and Benny Relford all of Commerce; and, Henry Joe Relford (Janie Relford) of Sulphur Springs; his sister, Delois Williams (Maurice Ford) of Commerce; 11 grandchildren; and, two great-grandchildren, and, a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy Ray Barber.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2013, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Pastor Leon Harrison in charge and Pastor Billy D. Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Martin, Kragen Hawkins, Guy Pruitt, Cliff Blair, Dedrick Booth, Randle Dugan, Billy Crowder and Favian Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sherman Price, Manning Mitchell, James Reynolds, Lewis Harrison and Melvin James Pannell.
