Jessie Junior Hill

Jessie Junior Hill, 69, of Cumby passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012.

Jessie was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 23, 1942, to Jessie Avery Hill and Juanita Elizabeth Hill McGibboney. He was a concrete finisher who enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.

He was married to JoAnn Winstead Hill for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife; his daughter, Betty Raeann Hill McCarter and her husband Samuel Lynn; his grandsons: Samuel and Bryson McCarter; his granddaughter; Jamye McCarter; his brothers: Mitchel and Alan Hill, both of Quitman; and, his sister, Sondra Hill Roberts of Quitman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Brice Hill; his three sisters: Mable Blankenship, Darlene Fisher and Freda Phlan; and, his grandson, Harley McCarter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Caney Cemetery in Campbell, TX.
