Jimmie Joe Cantrell, 68 passed away at his Commerce residence on April 26, 2010
Jimmie was born on May 9, 1941 to John Albert and Lisbon Weldy Cantrell in Eddy County, New Mexico. On May 11, 1991 Jimmie married Louella Myers in Ft. Worth, TX
Jimmie was one of thirteen children that never met a stranger. He loved watching old westerns and participating in Wild West shows, raising and breaking horses, his animals, and being a member of Comanche Creek Muzzleloaders
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, two step sons: Kirbie C. Frazier of Ft. Worth, TX and Kaleb A. M. Frazier of Commerce, TX, his four brothers: Arnold Cantrell and spouse Sandy of Searcy, AK, Richard Cantrell of Searcy, AR, Charles Cantrell of Medford, OR, and Howard Cantrell and spouse of MT, four brother-in-laws: Dr. James Boone Myers and spouse Beverly of Tulsa, OK, Alton Myers and spouse Beth of Seattle, WA, John Myers and spouse Melody of Azle, TX, and Matthew Myers of Azle, TX, a former brother-in-law and lifelong friend John Campbell and spouse Roxie of Dell City, TX, two sister-in-laws: Mitsuko Myers of Midwest City, OK and Susie Myers Copenhaver and spouse Mike of Tulsa, OK, 72 nieces and nephews, 55 great nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and two very good friends: Buck Johnson and spouse Annie of Cumby, TX and Marvin C. Hall and spouse of Campbell, TX
He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Mary Anna Elizabeth Cantrell, a brother-in-law Gordan Myers of Midwest City, Ok, and eight brothers and sisters
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
