Jimmy Ray Malone, 76, of Celeste, went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2020.

Jimmy was born in Greenville, TX. on May 21, 1944, the 3rd son of Glen F. and Geraldine (Nelson) Malone. Jimmy attended Wolfe City High School where he excelled at football and other sports while he worked on his family farm as well. He graduated from Wolfe City High School in 1962. After High School he met and married Linda Collins, also of Wolfe City. They wed on October 30, 1965 and lived in Greenville, TX. , after leaving Wolfe City.  They relocated to Princeton, TX. where they lived for 46 years.  Jimmy and Linda raised 3 sons and 1 daughter.  Jimmy was a well known brick mason for many years, people knew him for his quality work.  He later retired from North Texas Water District in 2012 after working 10+ years with the company.  He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, and all else life had to offer.  He loved very deeply and was always ready to help anyone in need.  Jimmy and Linda moved to Celeste, TX. in 2018 to be near their son.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Collins Malone of Celeste, TX., sons: Chad Wylen Malone and wife Becky of Celeste, Joshua Malone and family of Wylie, daughter Rosa Horn and husband Matt of Healdton, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Jarrin Malone, June Malone, Jacob Malone, Landyn Horn, Loghan Horn, Legend Horn; Great grandchildren: Kaigen Alexander, Harley Murdock, and Marvel Murdock. Other survivors include brothers: Gary Malone of Greenville, Glendale Malone of Commerce, Frankie Malone and wife Gail of Wolfe City, sisters: Terrie Felty of Wolfe City, Melinda Shields and husband Jack of Bells, Judy Swinson and husband Joe of Fairlie, sister-in-law Cathy Malone of Greenville and many many beloved neices, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Geraldine,; brother, Bobby Lynn Malone, and oldest son Keith Ray Malone.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Fairle Home Place located 6186 CR 4607 Commerce, TX 75428.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Malone, Jarrin Malone, Gaylon Swinson, Scott Lake, Mark Malone and Kyle Master.  Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Malone, Danny Stidham, Michael Malone, Cole Swinson, Landyn Horn, Steve Duncan, Gary Collins and Ryan Parks.
