Joan Lynch

Joan Cooper Lynch, 90, of Commerce passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 in Greenville, TX.

Joan was born in Archer City, Texas, on March 15, 1927, to Lynis Gillespie Cooper and Olen Turner Cooper. She enjoyed 60 beautiful years with her husband the late Thomas B. Lynch Jr. who preceded her in death in September 2013. Joan spent 65 years in nursing. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons: Pat Lynch of Tyler, TX., Richard Lynch of Gray, LA and Sean Lynch of Farmersville, TX; daughters: Kris Arnett of Commerce, TX., Karen Miller of Commerce, TX. and Kaye Colbert of New Florence, MO; 9 grandchildren; and, 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

In lieu of flowers the Lynch family would appreciate donations be made to CASA of Hunt County.

Joan will join her husband in inurnment at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
