Johnny Cameron, 67, of Klondike passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
He was a graduate of Cumby High School, a machine operator for Rockwell / Nordstrom and was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
Johnny was born in Commerce on January 20, 1945, to Dale Cameron and Jessie Cathryn Wade Cameron.
Survivors include his children: Brad Cameron and his wife Marlena of Commerce, Kasie Renea Cameron Anderson and her husband Tim of Klondike, and Cody Cameron of Commerce; his brother, Jimmy Cameron of Commerce; and his grandchildren: Kaylee Cameron, Montana Anderson, Kaleb Anderson, Orrin Cameron, Chloe Cameron and Shiloh Cameron.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law Dorothy Cameron.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie with Kaleb Wright officiating.. Burial with full military honors will follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
Pallbearers will be Steve Speight, Jake Haddock, Peyton Tisdale, Brian McWhirter, Marc Moody, Jarrid Horton, Brent Cunningham and Albert Cameron.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Tarpley, Benny Herman, Danny Speight, James Speight, Stanley Horton, Danny Horton, Junior Belcher, Garrett Horton, Gearald Clark, Jimmy Buchanan, Jerry Tice, Tim Anderson, and Michael "Mad Dog" Lynch.
