Jose Guadalupe Chavez, 63, of Hopkins County, passed away in Dallas on Friday, February 17, 2012.
Jose was born in Autlan de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico, on February 10, 1949, to Guadalupe Chavez and Porfiria Lisaola.
He married Alicia Morua Chavez on May 6, 1987.
Jose loved raising are caring for his farm animals.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Morua Chavez, his children: Ana, Amelia , Lupe , Manuel ,Clark, and William Chavez, his grandchildren Jessica, Alex, Eric, Jonah, Christian, and Kaelei, and 6 siblings, Florentina, Consuelo, Santos, Martimian, Maria, and Marcos.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Committal will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012, in Mount Zion Cemetery, Cumby, Texas.
