Justin Shane Swindell

Justin Shane Swindell, 66, of Garland, Texas left this earth on Monday, December 18, 2023. He was born on May 29, 1957, in Commerce, Texas to William Agnew Swindell and Lula Faye Wiese Swindell. He was brother to Will Swindell.

Shane was raised in Commerce and graduated from Commerce High School and East Texas State University. He had a successful career as a senior credit manager for various companies in Texas and Oklahoma.

Shane grew up hunting and fishing with his many friends and cousins and his love for these outdoor activities continued throughout his life. He was happy to take his last Hill Country deer two weeks before his passing. Shane was baptized at First Baptist Church in Commerce and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. He is survived by cousins and his many friends.

A memorial service for Shane will be held in the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel at 1209 Live Oak, Commerce, Texas, on January 13, 2024 at 12 noon.
