Karen Gayle Gaddy

Karen Gayle Gaddy, 66, of Commerce passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville on Tuesday evening October 31, 2023.  She was born on November 29, 1956 in Ladonia, TX to Jimmy Ware and Helen Faye Stewart Ware.  Karen had many talents including being a nurse.  She was also a quality control manager for AT&T.

She is survived by her son Marcus Byron Jacobs and wife Patricia, grandchildren: Hayden Jacobs (Alexas), Marcus Jacobs, Bryan Jacobs and Giana Jacobs; great grandchildren: Hadley Gayle Jacobs, Elaine Marie Jacobs and Willow Rose-Lynn Jacobs.  She is also survived by sisters: Michelle Strickland and Sharon Stailey; a brother Jimmy Ware.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents and two sons: Anthony Paul Jacobs and Jonathan Lake Cunningham.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday November 5, 2023 at the Jones-Walker Funeral Chapel on 1209 Live Oak Street in Commerce. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. and interment will follow at the New Harmony Cemetery located between Ladonia and Pecan Gap.

Serving as pallbearers will be Hayden Jacobs, Jaime Strickland, David Hebert, Marcus Jacobs and Marcus Jacobs Jr.
