Kelly Marcos, of Commerce, Texas, gained her heavenly wings on September 1, 2024. She was 57 years old when The Lord called her home.
Kelly was born on October 14, 1966 to Jerry and Mary Klein in Grapevine, Tx. She loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed learning the gospel and discussing politics with anyone who was willing to listen. She absolutely LOVED cooking and trying new recipes all of the time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Klein, brothers Sean and Christopher Klein, cousin Roy Dean Price and nephew Billy Dickinson.
Even though she is gone, she leaves behind a legacy of being someone who met no strangers and made everyone feel welcomed. She leaves many memories for others to look back on and smile and laugh about.
We will miss her early morning check-in calls and her bossy, lead chef critiques. Her heart was one of gold and no matter who you were, whether it’s the first time she’s met you or she’s known you forever, she always made everyone feel welcomed and feel like family. She was always in our corner, rooting and cheering for our successes.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria Kull, Carmen Marcos and son in law, Antonio Kull. She also leaves behind her “Granny’s Babies”, Andrew Williams, Naomi Williams, Jacob Williams, Macy Gonzalez, Noah Gonzalez, Gabriel Kull and Uriah Cavallo. Now, if you knew Kelly, you knew that she was the proudest Granny there ever was. She loved her grand-babies like they were going out of style and you couldn’t tell her anything! She was so proud of them.
She also, leaves behind her big sissy, Tammy Klein-James, her baby sissy, Vie Bozeman and brother-in-law, Dennis James. These three sisters were as thick as thieves, “The Golden Girls”. If you couldn’t get ahold of them, they were at the store playing machines together and not answering our calls. This was one of Kelly’s favorite things to do with her sisters. She also leaves behind so many other family members who played huge roles in her life. Krystle Lewis, Vanessa Bozeman, Johnny Painter, Dunta Lewis, Germarray Weatherall, Braydan Bozeman-Davis, Jayleigh Bozeman-Luckey, Javiya Bozeman.
Though we are all deeply saddened by the loss of Kelly, she would not want us to sit around crying but to celebrate the full life she lived.
The Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 12, 2024. Details will be posted on Social Media by family members at a later date.
