Kim Gaye Leatherwood

Kim Leatherwood, 48 passed away January 15, 2009 at Hunt Memorial Regional Hospital. Funeral services are at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2009, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with Brother Terry Bryan officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2009, at the funeral home.

The daughter of Kelsy Leatherwood and Billie Martinez, she was born March 3, 1960, in Riverside, CA.

Survivors include her mother and step father, Billie and Lupe Martinez;father Kelsy Leatherwood; sister Kelsie Council and husband Jim; brother Kelly Leatherwood and wife Kathy ; sister Kerry Bailey and husband Steve; brothers, Kevin Leatherwood, and Joey Adams and wife Julie; grandson Koen William Leatherwood and his mother Valerie Beane; many nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her son K.C. Leatherwood.

Pallbearers are Kelly Leatherwood, Kevin Leatherwood, Joey Adams, Kody Leatherwood, Chandler Morris, Jason Lengacher, Steve Bailey and James Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Broderick Hearn, Phillip Wright, Sanford Belcher, Jim Council, Tom DeLong, Paul Martinez, Ralph Martinez, Frankie Hamilton, and Brandon Guynes.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
