Linda Kay Pierce

Linda Kay Pierce, 77, of Cumby passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs on Thursday afternoon February 3, 2022.  She was born the daughter of Roy Cletus Steward and Naomi Allene Blount on December 8, 1944, in Lubbock, Tx.  She was married to Jerry Don Pierce for 34 years and they made their home in Cumby, Tx.  Those that she joins in death include her parents: Roy and Naomi Steward, three brothers: Roy Steward of Cumby, Teddy Steward of Sulphur Springs, Tx., and Allen Steward of Ridgeway, Tx.; two sisters: Jo Ann Neil of Arkansas and Sandra West. A granddaughter, Charity Laval Irwin is also among those that greeted her upon her passing.

Her three children: Todd Pollard of Sulphur Springs, Tx., Tory George of Cumby, and Danny Reichle of Lone Oak, Tx., 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one sister, Hazel Davis Littlefield are among those that she leaves behind to cherish her memory.

The family will host a celebration of her life on Sunday, April 3, 2022,  from 12:00-5:00 p.m. in her back yard where she used to spend a lot of time tending to her flowers.
