Mae Ola Stewart

Mae Ola Stewart, 98, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011, in Sulphur Springs, TX.

Mae was born on August 3, 1912, in Ridgeway, TX., to Dovie Lou Radican Shields and William Ira Shields. On December 9, 1924, she married M. F. (Bud) Stewart in Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother William Homer Shields.

Survivors include her sister, Lola Marie Bledsoe of Sulphur Springs; her nephew, Wayne Bledsoe of Sulphur Springs; her niece, Glenna Robinson of Sulphur Springs; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel in Commerce with Bro. Roy Lee Dittmar officiating.

Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway, TX.
