Marie Evelyna Boucher

Marie Evelyna Boucher, 86, passed away Thursday, February 19, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce.

She was born on October 27, 1922, in Ulysses, KS, to Ray Foster and Nellie Mae Moore Foster. On October 14, 1939, she married Grady Orbin Boucher in Clayton, Missouri.

Marie had been employed by Ellington Air Force Base in Houston. She had also worked in the banking industry for over 15 years and retired from East Texas State University, Department of Admissions and Records, after 11 years of service.

Marie was an Elder and Sunday school teacher at Mt. Zion Church. She was also a member of the Commerce Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Wallace Foster and Raymond Foster; and her sisters, Vera E. Anderson and Isabelle Macklin. Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home from 5 - 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, at Mt. Zion Church with Bro. Roy Lee Dittmar and Bro. Robert E. Woodworth officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Wetherby, Cullen Tucker, Glendale Tucker, Brad Rollins, Jody Allen, Bill McDaniel, Lance Shackelford, and Randy Jones.

Memorial contributions should be made to Mt. Zion Church Building Fund.
