Maria Nunez Ravelo

Funeral services for Maria Teresa Nunez Ravelo de Holguin, age 49, will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church with Father Victor Herandez officiating. Burial will follow at the North Hopkins Cemetery. 

 Visitation and Rosary will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday, February 10, 2025, at Jones Walker and Son Funeral Home. 

 Mrs. Nunez was born October 3, 1975, in Panuco de Coronado, Durango, Mexico the daughter of Mersedez Nunez and Manuela Ravelo. 

She married Jaun Pablo Holguin Ramirez, and he survives. 

 Mrs. Holguin was a homemaker and a member of St. James Catholic church. 

 She is survived by her husband Juan Pablo Holguin; three daughters; Jaquelin Holguin of Mabank, TX and her son, Maximiliano Alan Holguin; daughter Ivette Anahi Holguin of Sulphur Springs and her daughter Kamilah Rose Kiefer; daughter Berneice Esmeralda Holguin and son Juan Pablo Holguin, Jr. of Sulphur Springs. Her mother Manuela Ravelo of Mexico also survives. One brother Jose Nunez of Sulphur Springs, and two sisters Gloria Elena Nunez and Maria Socorro Nunez of Mexico. 

 She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. 

 Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home. 


  Los servicios fúnebres de María Teresa Núñez Ravelo de Holguín, de 49 años, se llevarán a cabo a las 2:30 p.m. del martes 11 de febrero de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de St. James con el padre Víctor Herández oficiando. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio de North Hopkins. 

 El velorio y el rosario se llevarán a cabo de 6 a 8 p.m. el lunes 10 de febrero de 2025 en la funeraria Jones Walker and Son.

 La Sra. Núñez nació el 3 de octubre de 1975 en Pánuco de Coronado, Durango, México, hija de Mersedez Núñez y Manuela Ravelo. Se casó con Jaun Pablo Holguín Ramírez, y él sobrevive.

 La Sra. Holguín era ama de casa y miembro de la iglesia católica de St. James.

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre y dos hermanos.
