Mary Ruth Tucker

Mary Ruth Tucker, 92, of Cooper passed away Monday, September 15, 2014.

Mary Ruth was born in the Shiloh Community on December 7, 1921, to Mary Tennessee Dees Stewart and William Henry Stewart. She was married to Willie Tucker. She was a retired Nurse for Dr. King for many years.

Survivors include her daughter Brenda Jones and her husband Tim; her two grandsons: Kyle Jones and Robert Jones; and her great- grandchildren: Haley Jones, Meagan Jones, Jason Jones, McKenzie Jones, her two brothers: Jack Stewart and Sydney Stewart, and, her two sisters: Anita Adams and Willie Jo Bell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Tucker; her parents; and, her sisters: Alvilda Brumley, Leon Clark, Lovetta Watson, Helen Newell and Barbara St. James.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, September, 18, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at Rosemound Cemetery, with David Gibson officiating.

Visitation will be conducted on Thursday, September, 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
