Michael Leon Acker
Michael Leon Acker, 64, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012, in Farmersville.
He was a graduate of Commerce High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Texas State University in 1974. He loved playing golf, going to Nascar, playing tennis with Taylor and was a fan of wrestling and the Von Eric family.
Michael was born in Dallas on February 23, 1948, to Mae Dell Speight and Leon Acker who precedes him in death.
Survivors include his former wife, Delanie Denison of Farmersville; his daughters: Melissa Lynn Smith and Melanie Lane Littlefield both of Greenville, Michele Lea Robinson of Brashear and Taylor Mae Acker of Farmersville; and, his grandchildren: Jacob and Jordan Beeler of Cooper, Ty Robinson of Brashear and Lyndsea Smith of Greenville.
Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The procession will leave the funeral home for graveside services at Sonora Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
