Michael E. Huggins

Michael E. Huggins, 44, of Sulphur Springs passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in Sulphur Springs as a result of a vehicle accident.  He was born on September 5, 1978 in Sulphur Springs to Patricia Gail Huggins Keels.  He was a manager of a nail salon.  Michael loved riding his motorcycle, hosting cookouts, grilling and just sitting around the fire pit.  He had a passion for animals. If you ever met Michael then you know he loved to talk, and you would find it hard to get away from him.  One thing about Michael is that you knew where you stood with him.  If he loved you, he would do anything for you.  He was a little rough but had a soft side as well.  It was said there was no in between.  He will be truly be missed by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his wife Cecily Huggins of Sulphur Springs; his mother Patricia Keels and Larry Keels of Commerce; daughters: Vanessa Dawn and fiancé Roland Robertson of Greenville, Elizabeth Michelle Huggins of Sulphur Springs and Britney Paige Huggins Gilliland and husband Dustin of Corpus Christi; grandchildren Sterling McCoy, Myra McCoy, Rayleigh Gilliland and Easton Gilliland; his brother Timothy Huggins of Commerce and sisterInter Tiffany Keels of Cumby and his nephew Corbin Huggins. Michael is also survived by his best friend Andy Do.
