Minnie Sue Young

Minnie Sue Young, 75, of Sulphur Springs, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009, in Greenville, Texas.

Minnie was born on May 11, 1934, in Yantis, Texas, to John Robert Jackson and Jennie Beatrice Beard Jackson. She was a member of the Cowboy Church.

Survivors include her two sons: Robert E. Westbrook of Tyler and William Lee Westbrook of Mabank; three daughters: Cheryl Westbrook of Maybank, Shirley Hamilton and Beverly Wallace both of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Pearl Wilson of Commerce; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Roland Westbrook and Junior Young; her parents; her brothers and sisters: Willie Jackson; R. C. Jackson; Laqutta Pritchett; Jean Giles / Folmar; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2009, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009, beginning at Noon until service time.

Pallbearers will be Yancy Hinman, Donnie Dixson, Billy Cassy, Doug Hamilton, Robert Billingsley, and Ricky Newman.
