Murrel was a great lover of people and their stories, and he always had time for a visit with everyone. True to his Irish heritage, he was a wonderful listener and story teller. Murrel was considered the family historian and loved the history of his family, Commerce, the railroad, and the South. A true history buff, he had a remarkable mind and memory for details.
