Naomi Matlock

Naomi Matlock, 70, of Commerce passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013, in Greenville.

Mrs. Matlock was born on August 13, 1942, to Martha Powell and George Washington Lauderdale in Bokchito, OK. She was married on March 22, 1960, to Harold Wayne Matlock in Durant, OK.

Mrs. Matlock was a former Justice Court Clerk for Judge Champion in Commerce; and, she retired as the Municipal Judge for the City of Ladonia.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Wayne Matlock of Commerce; her son, Harold Wayne Matlock Jr. of Greenville; Sabrina Irene Matlock of Greenville; her brother, Lloyd J. Lauderdale of Diane, TX; her sisters: Geraldine Hinson of Cumby and Francis Hardins of Oklahoma City, OK; and, three grandchildren: Lesley Forte of Anna, Ocean Nicole Adams and Samuel Lyle Adams both of Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
