Natalie Whitman

It is with great sadness that the family of Natalie Marie Piland Whitman announces her passing on April 29, 2017, at the age of 34. Natalie was born on December 27, 1982, in Henderson, Texas, to James and Lisa Piland.

She will be lovingly remembered by her six children, Jakali, Victoria, Jadyn, Davyn, Kailyn, and Tyler, and by her husband, David. Natalie is also survived by her mother and step-father, Lisa and Aaron Smith; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Shirley and Damon Crouch; maternal grandmother, Latresia Prowse; two sisters, Kristi Finney and husband, Robert; Alisha Horner and husband, Chance; two brothers, Zach Smith and Blayne Smith; two nieces, Malarie Fry and Mariyah Finney; three nephews, Devin Fulbright, Everett Horner, and Anderson Horner; two great nephews, Coleston Seymour and Kysien Seymour, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James “Peanut” Piland; grandfather, Billy Prowse; grandparents Joyce and Marvin “Buck” Williams; uncles Scott Williams, Terry Eddins, and Bob Eddins, and aunt, Lanita Eddins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Allens Point Baptist Church, 301 Co Rd. 2775, Honey Grove, Texas 75446

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Allens Point Baptist Church in Honey Grove.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.
